What's New Wednesday

HUMP Day! The week is halfway over and I know everyone is ready to bring on the weekend.  But who says you have to wait until the weekend to pamper yourself?  Pamper yourself a little EACH day.  You deserve it!
What's new at Posh? A LOT! I can't even tell you how excited I am about all the new products.  22 of them to be exact.  There are new skin delicious creams, new chunk soaps, new scrubs, new masks, new foot products, a new dry oil, and even something for your lashes!  
I really can't decide which one I'm most anxious to try.  If you are brand new to posh and not quite ure your ready to jump on board, I'd say try a chunk soap. I hear you saying you're not a bar soap fan, I really do!  I wasn't either.  Neither was my husband.  Posh's chunk soaps are different.  They are very moisturizing, long-lasting, mildly-but-lastingly (I made that up) scented and rinse off easily!  I also know that you can buy a bar of soap at a cheaper price but, you will be disappointed!  First of all, the soaps from the stores are full of sulfates and other harsh chemicals that make them cheap to manufacture.  Secondly, they are no where near as big as Posh's chunk.  Thirdly, they are not guaranteed to be cruelty-free.  

Teach Me Tuesday-- What is Kaolin?

What is Kaolin? Kaolin is an active ingredient in many skincare products. Kaolin is a type of soft, clay-like substance that is used in commonly in masks.  It is sometimes referred to as China clay.  Kaolin continues to be a popular ingredient in beauty products due to its safe nature, absorbency, and soothing properties. 
Many facial cleansers also include kaolin as an ingredient. In these products, kaolin plays multiple roles. It is excellent for regulating the oil and moisture in skin, promoting a smoother and healthier complexion, and absorbing excess shine. Kaolin provides acne-fighting benefits to breakout-prone skin by improving skin’s balance and reducing the levels of pore-clogging oils, dirt, and toxins. Using a cleanser that contains kaolin prior to applying makeup can help to control oil production and prevent unwanted shine.
Who would benefit most from beauty products that use kaolin? Not typically used for extremely dry skin but more for combination and oily skin.

THROWBACK THURSDAY

I am doing my Throwback Thursday to one of the first orders from Perfectly Posh that I ever received.  These are the three products I first fell in love with from Posh.  The Feng Shoap Chunk bar, the Rubby Scrubby exfoliating foot scrubber and the bath bomb (this one was from a beach collection that was super nice!).  

Sadly, the bath bombs and the feng shoap have been retired.  Kind of makes me wish I had stocked up on them when I had the chance.  But, it does make me excited to think that Posh will be coming out with brand new products in just a few days!  Sometimes, old favorites go away but that does make room for new and exciting!  Oh and if you love that Rubby Scrubby, there's no guarantee that it will make the list of spring products so I would stock up for summer!  You have 1 day for sure to get it put up for sandal season.  Keep your fingers crossed that it will be one of the products to stick around because it is FAB!
